Belmont Community Care, a ministry of Belmont Baptist Church coordinated by Brad Roach, brings together volunteers and contributors who share a heart for changing lives through love and compassionate support.

Sit-down Meals

Each Monday afternoon, our ministry shares a wholesome meal and takeaway items with an average of 18–20 people from our community. Over the past six years, we’ve been blessed to have provided thousands of meals to those in need.

If you are in need, sit down meals are held on Mondays from 4.45pm till 6pm consisting of, coffee & tea, main meal, dessert and a selection of pies, sausage rolls and other food to take away. Suggested donation is $5 per person, $10 for a family.

Venue – Belmont Baptist Church, 25-27 Maude St, Belmont, in the rear hall.

Good360

Our membership with the Good360 organisation enables us to provide toiletries, household goods, clothing, toys, sporting goods and other items to local NFPs, schools and remote Aboriginal communities in the NT & NSW. Over $300k of items have been distributed to those in need. We are also committed to distributing a 1000 bibles to Aboriginal communities.

We attend church there every Sunday we can. Because from the moment we met the parishioners they offered us a friendly and inviting atmosphere. Can't express enough how much we appreciate everyone at Belmont Baptist church

Belmont Community Care has been a real blessing — warm, supportive, and practical help when we’ve needed it most.

The community meal at Belmont Community Care is always welcoming and hearty — great food and even better company, though sometimes the line gets long.

Aboriginal Community Support

Our local partnerships enable us to contribute to the distribution of, clothing, blankets, personal care, food, toys and other items to Aboriginal communities in remote areas of Queensland, Northern Territory and NSW.

Local Community Support

We are dedicated to serving our community through practical expressions of Christ’s love. In partnership with Belmont Christian College, we provide over sixty food hampers each year to families at two local public schools. Our welfare fund also supports those facing urgent need, and when we can’t meet a request, we connect them with others who can.

Coffee Plus – Coffee & Friendship

Join us every third Friday of the month from 10am to 12pm at Belmont Baptist Church (25–27 Maude St, Belmont, rear hall). Coffee Plus is a welcoming space where friendships grow over a cuppa and good conversation. Whether you’re new to the area, looking for connection, or simply enjoy sharing time with others, you’ll find laughter, encouragement, and community waiting for you.

Partnering with Belmont Christian College

We’re eagerly anticipating the future collaborations with Belmont Christian College. As our close relationship with them continues to grow, we envision even more opportunities to have a positive impact on our community together.
